The short version: These terms govern your use of the Lō app and website. They’re written to be readable, not to obscure. If something isn’t clear, email us at hello@joinlo.co and we’ll explain it.
By accessing or using Lō — including the website at joinlo.co, the waitlist, or the app — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Lō.
These terms apply to all users, including waitlist registrants, beta users, and paying subscribers once the app launches.
Lō is a wellness, education, and performance tracking platform for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.
Lō is not a medical provider. Nothing in the app or on this website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, exercise, or hormone therapy. Lō is a tool to help you understand your health — not a substitute for professional medical care.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Lō. By using Lō, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Lō is available to users in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and other countries where the app is accessible. Some features or content may vary by region. We reserve the right to restrict access in jurisdictions where we are unable to comply with local laws or regulations.
You agree not to:
You own your data. The health information, logs, and content you enter into Lō belong to you. We process it to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export or delete your data at any time. Account deletion is available directly in the app under More › Close Account, or by contacting us at hello@joinlo.co.
Where you choose to provide sensitive personal data such as ethnic background, you do so with explicit consent and may withdraw that consent at any time by updating your profile.
Lō uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised health protocols, appointment briefs, training plans, and responses to your questions. These outputs are based on your profile data and published health research.
AI-generated content is for educational and wellness purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You should always verify AI-generated recommendations with a qualified healthcare professional before acting on them.
We do not use your personal data to train AI models. Your data is sent to our AI providers solely to generate your personalised outputs and is subject to their privacy policies.
Lō supports optional integration with third-party wearable devices such as the Oura Ring. By connecting a wearable, you authorise Lō to retrieve data from that device in accordance with the device manufacturer's terms and your consent.
Wearable integrations are optional. Disconnecting a wearable will stop data retrieval but will not delete data already synced to Lō. You can request deletion of synced wearable data by contacting us at hello@joinlo.co.
All content, design, software, trademarks, and materials in Lō — including the Lō trademark, brand identity, educational content, and macro engine — are the property of Lō Health LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Lō without our prior written consent.
Lō is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We make no medical warranties of any kind. The nutritional targets, training recommendations, and educational content in Lō are based on published research and established guidelines but are not a guarantee of any particular health outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lō Health LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Lō.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Lō shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer protection laws in the United Kingdom and Australia.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and, for material changes, notify registered users by email. Continued use of Lō after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
You may close your account at any time directly in the app under More › Close Account, or by contacting us at hello@joinlo.co.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Lō for users who violate these terms, without notice where necessary to protect the platform or other users.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply in your jurisdiction and that cannot be excluded by contract. If you are located in Australia, the Australian Consumer Law applies to the extent required by law.
